This activity gives individuals and groups a picture
of their thinking style preferences and points the way toward working
together more effectively and productively.
The activity uses a card sort methodology, the
cards describe behaviour traits, and are colour coded, representing the
four quadrants of brain function: Cerebral, Limbic, Left and Right Mode.
The activity starts with each participant being
randomly distributes five cards. Each participant then arranges
their cards in order, starting with the card that best describes them
and ending with the card that is least like them. The next step is to
move around the group and swap cards to improve their hand.
Finally, the group can have an open choice to choose the cards that
they believe best describes them, from a full deck.
